By Paola Herrera · 11dSergio 'Checo' Pérez will make his 300th career Formula 1 race start at the 2026 Mexico Grand Prix.
Pérez stated he is approaching retirement and wants to end his racing career successfully. He also said he has significantly more influence and input within the Cadillac team than he did during his time at Red Bull Racing.
Mexican Formula 1 fans support Pérez even when he has very low odds of winning a race.
