The union Amtaascm (Asociación Mexicana de Trabajadores de Autotransportes, Aéreo-Transportes, Similares y Conexos de la República Mexicana) states that Magnicharters has at least 150 million pesos in debts to travel agencies.

Magnicharters belongs to Grupo Aéreo Monterrey. The airline announced on 11 April 2025 the unilateral cessation of its operations for logistical reasons, saying it would take two weeks to resolve the situation.
