President Claudia Sheinbaum said she held a scheduled phone call with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday and that trade negotiations toward a possible Mexico-US agreement are advancing.

She made the statement at her morning press conference. The call with Trump took place on the Wednesday of that week, she said.
